Position Summary:

Customer Service Relations deal directly with our customers. Candidates in this position are responsible for ensuring our customers receive the highest level of support from project inception through project completion. This is a great entry level opportunity for the right candidate to grow with Architectural Cast Stone as we expand our product lines coast-to-coast. Candidate must be able to multitask, exhibit strong communication skills, be eager to learn, have desire to work and collaborate with others, be organized, dependable, have excellent problem solving skills and must have an unfailing positive approach in resolving customer related issues.

  • Provide answers and respond to customer queries from project design through project completion via phone, fax and email, courteously and consistently using established guidelines

  • Monitor customer orders throughout the submittal and shipping process, advising customers of any significant delays and schedule changes to help ensure customer expectations are addressed

  • Coordinate the customer’s needs with our ability to produce and ship. This service requires immediate action and follow up with problems pertaining to product availability, shortages and shipping schedule availability

  • Contract management including: project or product cancellations, maintaining contract balances (debits/credits) and appropriately updating databases and reports accordingly.

  • Work with the Customer Service Manager and other department team leads to process information relative to product, project changes, and product availability into the appropriate reports, databases, email, etc...

  • Review open job issues and align with other departments to communicate customer needs, advocate for customer in finding solutions, and provide prompt responses to customer within company guidelines

  • Document customer interactions/communications, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.

  • Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and accurately collect payment for product when required on COD.

  • Create new jobs in system as required using database software, network folders and various tracking logs.

  • Coordinate submittals throughout the approval process and follow up as required.

  •  Understanding of Request for Proposal (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFI’s)
