Position Summary:

Architectural Cast Stone LLC, a leading manufacturer of cast stone, architectural precast, and GFRC products is looking for a motivated individual experienced with performing take offs from architectural drawings. This could be a full time work from home position but we would prefer it in office. Experience with cast stone, masonry construction, or architectural precast is a big plus. Must be experienced with on-screen takeoff. We will provide you with training on our system. This is an opportunity to receive valuable experience as ACS expands product lines and opens new locations nationwide

  • Organize estimating efforts to prepare bids

  • Conduct take-offs and estimates of precast product

  • Incorporate historical data and cost in preparing estimates.

  • Review plans and specifications and determine scope of work.

  • Prepare pre-bid project schedule to identify resource and general facility requirements

  • Determine proper overhead and mark-ups.

Education and Skills:

  • 3+ years estimating experience

  • Practical application and knowledge of engineering technology accompanied by building and construction.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel

  • Mathematical Reasoning

  • Active Listening

  • Critical Thinking

  • Oral and Written Comprehension

  • Willingness to learn

  • Complex Problem Solving

  • Good organization skills

Compensation:

$ 15-20 Hour/ D.O.E.
